Life’s a beach

The move at the weekend went brilliantly, thanks to our fabulous helpers – they were like little fairies! Settled in quite dreamily into, what we are calling the pink palace/ping pad (even though we only have two rooms pink)! :)
I am weary now though – but the sun finally coming out in Brighton is perking me up a little. WBF Emma and I didn’t make it to the beach today – I am glad we didn’t now as I would have never have wanted to leave. I love that I not only live by the sea, but work there too and both completely different places. I was a bit dubious about working in Brighton at first, but after 5 months, I am now starting to fall in love with the place. There is a constant holiday vibe, and I love how almost everyone you meet is super creative. Every third person seems to be carrying a guitar! The shops are also so cutesy, Emma and I love tat and often get caught up browsing in our lunch hour, around The Lanes. Although it’s a city, it really is more like a village and EVERYONE knows everyone! I will keep you posted on my new love affair as I have so much more to discover and I can’t wait!

Congrats on the Pink Palace, Brighton does seem like a cool place to live and the town is bigger (shops and restaurant wise) than I thought. I'll be back soon I'm sure :)
